Under the regulations of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology of Sardar Patel University, ADIT follows a credit based system of studies. In the system, a student receives grades - A, B, C, D, E or F - for each course that he/she studies. A student's final performance, when he/she completes degree requirements, is assessed in terms of a weighted average of the grades received in various courses. The student has some flexibility to choose the courses which he/she studies during a semester.

It is widely recognized that a credit-based system of studies in inculcates in students a sense of responsibility, accountability & regularity and thereby results in improved performance.

Facilities

The library provides facilities and services necessary for success of all formal programmers of instruction, open the door to wide world of book that lies beyond the boundaries of one’s own field of qualification and bring the books by students and scholars together under conditions which encourage reading for pleasure, self discovery, personal growth and the sharing of intellectual curiosity.

The collection of the Library is rich and diverse, especially in terms of the breadth and depth of coverage. Collection encompasses subjects in communication technology, computer engineering, information technology, electronics, mechanical engineering, humanities and social sciences and related areas. This collection includes, books, conference proceedings, reference books, journals, magazines, CDs, floppies, etc.

Currently, Library has, 21325 books & reference books, 175 national - international journals and Magazine, 1060 CDs & floppies on language & communication skill and various subjects of engineering.

The Library also has a separate reading room.
